Chiropractic for Sinus Issues

Sinus Issues ranging from stuffy noses to sinus infections to sinus headaches affect thousands of children in the United States. These different sinus issues actually could be all caused by the same primary problem.

Your sinuses are located in your forehead, across your nose and in your face around the area of your cheeks. Sinuses are air-filled passageways that drain mucous and circulate air throughout your nasal passages.

What Causes Sinus Issues?

When sinus passageways become blocked, mucous is trapped. If the mucous is eventually not able to drain it becomes a breeding ground for all types of bacteria, viruses and fungi that can cause a sinus infection. And it’s this infection that causes sinusitis – inflammation and congestion in your sinuses. This sinusitis then causes sinus headaches.

With sinus stuffiness, infections and headaches, the pain and pressure you feel is not the primary problem. The primary problem is the blocked sinuses that cause the sinus symptoms.

How Chiropractic May Help

As explained previously, the primary problem is actually the blocked sinus pathways, which cause the sinus stuffiness, infections, and headaches.

What if you could correct this primary problem? Then what? What if Dr. Josh told you that chiropractic care has shown positive results in reducing sinus inflammation and infections?

Surprised? Here’s why…

By adjusting the sinus bones and upper spinal neck bones, it allows the body to drain those blocked and clogged sinus passageways, which is the actual cause of the sinus stuffiness, infections and headaches. If the sinuses are not clogged then these sinus issues will not form, thus preventing the sinus issues from happening.
